Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree – All Talismans and Spirit Ashes, and Their Locations

To say that Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is a massive experience would be an understatement. There is a boatload of new items, weapons, armor sets and more to discover and collect. That includes Talismans and Spirit Ashes, some of the best tools to combat the Realm of Shadow’s threats. Here’s how to find them all.

All Talismans and Their Locations

Dried Bouquet

In Belurat, take a right from Miquella’s Cross.

Arrow’s Soaring Sting Talisman

Defeat the Black Knight Gerrew in the Fog Rift Castle, Scadu Altus and go through the gap on the left of the tower to get the talisman from the top.

Beloved Stardust

Obtained from Count Ymir after ringing the first bell in the Finger Ruins of Rhia.

Blade of Mercy

Located in the Scorched Ruins in Gravesite Plains at the top.

Aged One’s Exultation

Obtained from defeating the Madness-inducing creature in the southeast part of the Abyssal Woods by parrying them.

Blessed Blue Dew Talisman

Church of Benediction near the Marika statue in Gravesite Plains.

Boltdrake Talisman +3

Located in the Storehouse, second floor, of the Shadow Keep in Scadu Altus.

Ailment Talisman

In the Abandoned Ailing Village, Gravesite Plains in the northeast part.

Cerulean Amber Medallion +3

Obtained in Scorpion River Catacombs, Rauh Ruins from defeating the Death Knight.

Cerulean Seed Talisman +1

In the Finger Ruins of Dheo, Scadu Altus, after ringing the second bell (during the Count Ymir questline).

Pearldrake Talisman +3

Species Storehouse, third floor in the Shadow Keep, on the statue near the Fire Knight.

Rellana’s Cameo

Located in Castle Ensis, Gravesite Plains, after going right from Moonrithyll, Carian Knight.

Retaliatory Crossed-Tree

Give the Secret Rite Scroll to Ansbach and then go to the Specimen Storehouse in the Shadow Keep, where he usually hangs out. Select Leda’s summoning sign and fight Ansbach.

Sharpshot Talisman

Located near the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace, after defeating Commander Gaius.

Clarifying Horn Charm +2

In the Lamenter’s Gaol, Southern Shores.

Crimson Amber Medallion +3

Obtained in the Fog Rift Catacombs, Gravesite Plains, after defeating the Death Knight.

Fine Crucible Feather Talisman

West of the initial Spirit Spring in the Rauh Ruins, on top after climbing some vines.

Flamedrake Talisman +3

Located in Fort Reprimand, Scadu Altus, by going right from the entrance and navigating the maze.

Golden Braid

Located south of the Shaman Village in Scadu Altus near a tree.

Immunizing Horn Charm +2

Located in Eastern Belurat, after slaying the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.

Lacerating Crossed-Tree

Assist Leda against Hornsent in the Specimen Storehouse of the Shadow Keep.

Crimson Seed Talisman +1

In Count Ymir’s questline, ring the first bell in the Finger Ruins of Rhia, Southern Shores.

Smithing Talisman

Go up the ramp of the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past and check the lefthand side.

Spelldrake Talisman +3

Located beneath the bridge northwest of the Castle Front Site of Grace in Gravesite Plains.

Crusade Insignia

Obtained in Belurat, Gravesite Plains from defeating the Fire Knight Queelign.

Pearl Shield Talisman

Found in a camp chest in the Rauh Ruins.

Mottled Necklace +2

Obtained from the Church of Bud in Rauh Ruins after reaching high ground from a Spirit Spring.

Two-Handed Sword Talisman

Temple Town Ruins, Rauh Ruins, at the top.

Shattered Stone Talisman

Found inside of a submerged building east from the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace in Scadu Altus.

St. Trina’s Smile

After progressing the quest involving St. Tina and Thiollier, go to the Southern Shores and defeat the latter when he invades you.

Stalwart Horn Charm +2

Located east of the Bonny Gaol entrance, Scadu Altus, up a ladder.

Talisman of All Crucibles

Go southwest of the Ancient Ruins, Grand Starway Site of Grace in Rauh Ruins, and take the elevator down. Navigate the left path and go through a hole to find this.

Talisman of Lord’s Bestowal

Go northwest, up the stairs, from the Main Plaza Site of Grace in Shadow Keep, and then right to find this outside.

Talisman of the Dread

Located near the “Behind the Fort of Reprimand” Site of Grace at the Elder’s Hovel in Scadu Altus.

Two-Headed Turtle Talisman

Behind the waterfall north of the Ellac River Cave Site of Grace in Gravesite Plains.

Verdigris Discus

Near a statue northeast of the waygate used to access the Ancient Rauh Ruins.

Viridian Amber Medallion +3

In the Darklight Catacombs, Scadu Altus, use the first lever. Look to the right and jump over to find a lit room with the talisman inside a chest.

All Spirit Ashes and Their Locations

Inquisitor Ashes

Take the stairs east of the Spiral Rise Site of Grace. Look for a staircase on the north side after slaying the second enemy and follow it to a corpse with the Spirit Ashes.

Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh

Go west of Belurat, Tower Settlement, to find the Belurat Gaol. Reach the end and Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze.

Curseblade Meera

Bonny Gaol, Scadu Altus, after defeating the Curseblade Labirith.

Gravebird Ashes

Northwest of the Cerulean Coast West Site of Grace. Use the Spirit Spring and check the gravestones.

Messmer Soldier Ashes

After defeating the Omenkiller in the Fort of Reprimand, head to the opposite side and then outside. Check the grave to find the Spirit Ashes.

Black Knight Commander Andreas

In the Fog Rift Catacombs, after riding the first spike trap that falls from the ceiling. Jump off into a room with the sarcophagus to find Andreas.

Black Knight Captain Huw

Located at the end of the Scorpion River Catacombs in Rauh Ruins after navigating past the second spiked ceiling trap.

Fire Knight Hilde

From the Storehouse, Loft Site of Grace in Shadow Keep, ride the elevator and explore the leftmost side of the rafters. There will be two elevators side by side – send the right one down and hop on top of the left to access the Spirit Ashes.

Spider Scorpion Ashes

Northwest of the Viaduct Minor Tower Site of Grace, look for a Spider Scorpion hanging from the ceiling, and you’ll find this among the nearby items.

Bloodfiend Hexer’s Ashes

In the Rivermouth Cave, south of the Temple Town Ruins near the Ancient Rauh Base Site of Grace. Defeat the Chief Bloodfiend to receive this.

Fingercreeper Ashes

From the Fingerstone Hill Site of Grace, go east down the hill (avoid all the Fingercreepers). Keep going until you see several finger-like pillars and veer slightly northeast. You’ll find a hole – jump down and fight the giant Fingercreeper or collect the Spirit Ashes and run.

Fire Knight Queelign

Go to the Shadow Keep’s Prayer Room and give the Iris of Grace to Fire Knight Queelign to receive his Spirit Ashes.

Taylew the Golem Smith

Located in Taylew’s Ruined Forge. After moving the middle platform, go up and to the left. Head up the stairs, and you’ll find the Spirit Ashes in the forge.

Bigmouth Imp Ashes

Found in the Darklight Catacombs in Scadu Altus. Go left from the Bigmouth Imp, pull the lever, slay it and then drop down to a chest with the Spirit Ashes.

Man-Fly Ashes

From the Recluses’ River Upstream Grace. Traverse the cliff ledges and then go across to the right to the Recluses’ River Downstream Grace. Progress ahead and take the path leading up to the right to enter the Village of Flies. Go to the upper right-most section to find this.

Horned Warrior Ashes

Located in the Enir-lim dungeon. From the Spirit Rise Site of Grace, go up the spiral staircase and jump down to find three corpses. The Spirit Ashes will be on one of them.

Ancient Dragon Florissax

Complete the Jagged Peak questline, which involves slaying Bayle the Dread.

Swordhand of Night Jolán

After defeating Count Ymir following his questline (more details here), give the Iris of Grace to Jolán to receive her Spirit Ashes.

Jolán and Anna

After obtaining Swordhand of Night Jolán, go to the top of Rabbath’s Rise in Scadu Altus. Enter the Shaman Village and venture through the back to get there. Upon arriving, interact with Anna’s puppet body to combine her spirit with Jolán for double Spirit Summon.
