Sony may have provided the first few details for its PlayStation 5, but Microsoft isn’t resting easy either. The company has announced that its E3 2019 presser will take place on June 9th at 1 PM PT/4 PM ET. That means we’ll see what Microsoft has in store for us before E3 2019 properly begins. According to Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, this will be the company’s “biggest E3 presence ever.”
Explicit details for the presser haven’t been revealed just yet, but that will likely change as we get closer to E3. In terms of length, the presser will be the same length as previous years, according to Xbox boss Phil Spencer. If last year was any indication, that could mean a roughly two hour show.
We do have some ideas as to what can be expected. The new Xbox console will likely be showcased- or at least teased. The Coalition’s Gears 5 will probably be given a more solid release date, especially since it’s already due for release later this year. As for the rest, stay tuned for more information.
From our briefing to our fan events, the Xbox Experience to the Xbox Official Gear Shop, this will be our biggest E3 presence ever! Only 55 days to go until #E32019 https://t.co/ozisTqwXOj pic.twitter.com/QdEt9m5YBQ
