FromSoftware’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has done extremely well since release. On top of critical acclaim, it sold more than 2 million units in less than 10 days. To say that publisher Activision is pleased would be an understatement. According to chief operative officer Collister Johnson in the company’s recent financial results, sales were “better than expected.”

“Q1 also saw the highly successful release of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the result of Activision’s approach to selectively partnering with high-quality developers to leverage our publishing and marketing scale and expertise,” Johnson said. “We couldn’t be more pleased with the collaboration, execution, and response to FromSoftware’s critically acclaimed title from gaming communities worldwide.”

Along with strong sales in the first 10 days, digital sales for the title were also very good. As per SuperData, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice hit 1.4 million digital sales in March. Not only was it one of the most successful digital launches that month, but also surpassed Dark Souls 3. The latter sold 200,000 copies digitally in its launch month.

Though future content is unknown at this point, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice did recently receive an update to make more Prosthetic Tools viable. If you’re interested in how the game’s various bosses rank, head here. You can also check out the game’s various secrets and Easter eggs here.
