During the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted, 11 bit Studios debuted a short new teaser for Frostpunk 2. It showcases The City and its various changes since adapting to The Great Storm that brought ruin to the world. Unfortunately, it seems survival has given way to new conflicts between humanity. Set 30 years later, there are more people to manage and a larger scale to The City. However, that also means differing views on the future, and it’s up to the player to choose a side. Your decisions could very well determine who comes out on top.
Though the developer promised a gameplay reveal in Fall 2023, it’s now saying the trailer is right around the corner. Here’s hoping for a potential reveal at The Game Awards on December 7th. Frostpunk 2 launches in the first half of 2024 for PC. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.
