Destiny 2 Season of the Wish

Destiny 2 game director Joe Blackburn released a new update video, providing details on upcoming content to fill the void after The Final Shape’s delay. However, he also name-dropped the next Dungeon coming to the looter shooter on December 1st: Warlord’s Ruin.

Blackburn didn’t offer any more details due to worry that “someone from the Raid and Dungeon team is going to hear me and, like, come barreling through the door.” However, there’s only one living individual in the Destiny universe who held the Warlord title: Shaxx. As Crucible handler and commander of the Redjacks, he has ties to The Dreaming City and Mara Sov. Given that Season of the Wish features Riven, Shaxx could play a role.

Time will tell, so stay tuned for more details. Destiny 2: Season of the Wish launches on November 28th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC, adding a new seasonal activity, story missions and more. Warlord’s Ruin is available to those who bought the Lightfall Deluxe Edition and Dungeon Key, which also grants access to Ghosts of the Deep.
