Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny 2. You can find him in the Hangar behind an NPC that once had a role as a faction vendor but no longer. The Exotic vendor will be there until the next weekly reset so scope out his wares by then.
This week’s Exotic weapon is Arbalest, a primary linear fusion rifle that costs 29 Legendary Shards. It’s main perk is firing slugs that massively damage elemental shields. Breaking an enemy’s shield with this weapon will also increase their vulnerability to Kinetic damage for a short time. With linear fusion rifles getting a buff in the next season, it’s worth picking up Arbalest right now.
As for the Exotic gear, it consists of Graviton Forfeit (Hunter helm), Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan boots) and Astrocyte Verse (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Graviton Forfeit has a very good stat roll and is decent for increasing the duration of invisibility effects. Mk. 44 Stand Asides provide an overshield while sprinting at full health while a shoulder charge skill is equipped – hitting an enemy with the skill also recharges some melee energy. Astrocyte Verse also for more frequent blinking and readying one’s weapon more quickly.
