Destiny 2: The Final Shape Trailers Showcase Still Hunt, Microcosm, and Khvostov 7G-0X Exotics

Ricocheting bullets, heavy shield damage and Golden Gun shots for every subclass define the expansion's new Exotic weapons.

Destiny 2 The Final Shape - Still Hunt

After Bungie showcased three new (and somewhat underwhelming) Exotic armor pieces for Destiny 2: The Final Shape, it recently unveiled three new Exotic weapons. The first is the Khvostov 7G-0X, based on the first gun players obtained in Destiny 1. Check it out below.

Its signature perk is every seventh bullet ricochets. Based on the gameplay, the shots seek out other enemies and sometimes loop back to the original target. Microcosm is an Exotic trace rifle for the Heavy slot that deals massive damage to enemy shields. That’s adequate, but it should have more going on to warrant including in the slot over all the current options.

Finally, there’s Still Hunt, an Exotic sniper rifle which lets you fire Golden Gun shots regardless of your subclass. Simply “charge up power,” seemingly through kills, and let loose. With Prismatic subclasses and the new Exotic class items providing more build-crafting options, having an entire Super in an Exotic expands on that even more.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape launches on June 4th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Head here for everything you should know before playing.
