Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid Challenges Go Live on October 31st

The rewards include...an emblem and guaranteed raid drop. Woo-hoo.

Destiny 2 Leviathan

If you thought the rewards for completing Destiny 2’s Prestige version of the Leviathan raid weren’t worth it, then Bungie has even less to motivate you. In its latest weekly update, raid challenges will be going live on October 31st, allowing players to complete bonus objectives during key encounters. There will be one challenge live each week.

These objectives were introduced with The Taken King and are an optional, trickier way to complete encounters. Unfortunately, the rewards for the Leviathan’s raid challenges seem rather meager. You’ll receive an emblem for each challenge completed along with a guaranteed item drop. Since there are no higher power levels, raid ornaments or special perks on gear, this seems rather tame.

Bungie will be offering more information on future Destiny 2, especially as it heads to TwitchCon on October 20th to discuss seasons. That reveal will be happening through the CoolCat Channel on Twitch at 4:30 PM PST so stay tuned for more information.
