Destiny 2 Iron Banner

Iron Banner has returned to Destiny 2…and it’s still the same 4v4 mode with the same team-shot meta, ability cooldowns and ho-hum map design. But hey, at least you can earn some new weapons…which are technically reskins of existing weapons.

Clash is the mode this time so Crucible players now have a way to skip Supremacy altogether when queuing for matches. You earn 2 Tokens from losing and 5 Tokens from winning with Daily Challenges and Milestones granting 2 Tokens and 15 Tokens respectively. They refresh daily for each character.

Lord Saladin will be selling the Orimund’s Anvil (Legendary auto rifle), Jorum’s Claw (Legendary pulse rifle) and Orewing’s Maul (Legendary grenade launcher) for 60 Iron Banner Tokens and 10 Legendary Shards each. Meet the right requirements and you can purchase the armour from him as well. You can also complete various challenges to unlock Season 2 Ornaments for armour. Check out the challenges below:

Helmet: Win 25 Iron Banner matches.
Arms: Complete 5 daily Iron Banner milestones.
Chest: Defeat opponents with Grenade or Melee attacks. 1% per Grenade Kill, 0.5% per Melee Kill
Legs: Defeat 200 opponents in the Iron Banner.
Class Item: Claim 5 reward packages during the Iron Banner event.

Iron Banner will end on March 13th, 9 AM PST with the next weekly reset so get your rewards while you can. Or just wait until 6v6 Control returns to the mode instead.
