More information is trickling out for Destiny 2: Forsaken en route to the Season of the Drifter. Along with changes coming to Gambit on March 5th, Bungie’s sandbox team has also discussed what’s happening with various weapons and Exotics. That includes shotguns and gear like One-Eyed Mask.

Sandbox designer Victor Anderson revealed that Queenbreaker would receive a chance to its aim-assist to keep it more in line with other linear fusion rifles. To compensate, the archetype’s PvE damage will be increased by 10 percent. As for shotguns, rapid-fire models are receiving several changes. Those with Full Auto will have their rate of bonus reduced to 10 percent from 100 percent. The pellet spread will also not be increased.

The rate of fire values for all shotguns have also changed to the following:

  • Aggressives are 55 RPM, up from 45 RPM
  • Precisions are 70 RPM, up from 55 RPM
  • Lightweights are 80 RPM (they were erroneously stated to be 90 RPM previously)
  • Rapid-Fire 140 RPM, down from 200 RPM (they were previously natively 100 RPM, but due to the intrinsic full auto, actually had 200 RPM)

Base damage for shotguns has also been reduced, but they will receive a damage multiplier in PvE. This will result in double the damage dealt, though Legend of Acrius will not benefit from this buff. As for One-Eyed Mask, Mark of Vengeance’s duration will be reduced to 8 seconds instead of 15. Health will also refill slowly instead of all at once before the overshield is generated. Finally, Vengeance will not trigger while in your Super.

There’s even more in terms of changes, so make sure to hit up the weekly update. Expect more details when update 2.2.0 lands in March.
