Love conquers all, but can it conquer the Crucible? That will be the question for those playing Destiny 2 this week with the return of Crimson Days. Available until February 19th, the Valentine’s Day event has Crimson Doubles as the Featured Crucible Playlist. The Tower has also been decked out in roses for the occasion.
Crimson Doubles still touts the same conditions as last year. Stick close to your partner for decreased cooldowns on your abilities. If you split up, then the opposing team will get markers to your respective locations. Matchmaking is enabled, so don’t worry about slogging through LFG.
Don’t worry though – PvE players have stuff to do as well. Visit Shaxx for some new daily bounties, along with a Nightfall Duo bounty. Completing Crimson Doubles matches and bounties will award Confectionary Hearts. These can be used to purchase a new Sparrow, Ghost, and even a fully-masterworked Legendary bow called The Vow. This should be worthwhile for non-Forsaken owners, since The Vow is the first Legendary bow open to all players.
