Team Asobi and Sony have previously touted the upcoming platformer as Astro's biggest adventure to date.

The free update has added new content tied to the upcoming Astro Bot, as well as Special Bots to rescue and new gachas.
As opposed to several other first-party PlayStation titles that cost $70, Astro Bot's standard edition will cost $60.
The latter includes early unlocks for Bloodborne and Golden outfits, two Dual Speeder paint colors, the official soundtrack and more.
Like Astro's Playroom, players can gather coins in-game and spend them on the Gatcha Lab, though its contents are unknown.

Team Asobi's 3D platformer will also have "die-and-retry" levels, providing a more challenging experience for some players.
The DualSense, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, is fully supported. Team Asobi also promises "improved Astro controls."
