Elden Ring Player Has Discovered A New Type Of Illusory Wall In Volcano Manor

Players have discovered a new type of illusory wall in Elden Ring, and it apparently requires 50 hits of a weapon to open up.

FromSoftware’s latest Elden Ring has been critical and commercial success, thanks to an open-world that’s filled to the brim with interesting and varied content. Given the studio’s penchant for minimal handholding with its games, Elden Ring has no shortage of secrets – many of which are being discovered even weeks after release.

As posted by Twitter user Iron Pineapple (originally discovered by teristam on r/eldenring), Elden Ring actually has a new type of illusory wall that requires multiple hits (50 to be precise) to open up. The video shows the player repeatedly hitting a particular wall in Volcano Manor, until a path opens up eventually.

Illusory walls in Souls games usually open up after a single strike from a weapon, so this new revelation has fans excited to discover even more of the shortcuts and secrets that The Lands Between offers. Of course, this could also be a glitch – so its best to exercise caution at the moment.

Recently, players also discovered an ingenious way to pause the action in Elden Ring – read more on that through here.  You can also read our review of Elden Ring by clicking through here.
