Elden Ring Update Datamine Hints at DLC Zones, Ray Tracing Support

Members of the Elden Ring community have already begun datamining the newest update, and their findings imply new content for DLC.

With the release of the recent update for Elden Ring, files that hint towards a potential DLC for the game have been uncovered by enterprising players datamining the new files.

Dark Souls hacker Zullie took to Twitter to reveal their findings, which include IDs for currently-unknown maps. IDs are titled in a particular way; m30 maps, for instance, are side dungeons, while m60 is the overworld.

Zullie’s findings include m20—the ID of which implies that it is a new Legacy Dungeon, which are levels like Stormveil Castle or the Siofra River—and m45, which doesn’t have an equivalent in the game because the IDs don’t go that far.

Speculation pegs m45 as being the ID for a new overworld that might be included in Elden Ring‘s potential DLC.

Another member of the community, Sennoutantei, has uncovered a series of strings that imply, among other things, the addition of ray tracing support in Elden Ring.
