Elden Ring Has Sold 20.5 Million Units

Bandai Namco confirms that the acclaimed open world action RPG has sold an additional 500,000 copies since late February.

Elden Ring was by far the biggest critical success of the year, while it has, of course, enjoyed similar success from a commercial perspective as well. As of late February, FromSoftware’s acclaimed open world action RPG had sold over 20 million units worldwide, and unsurprisingly, its sales have maintained a steady pace since then.

In its recent quarterly fiscal report, publisher Bandai Namco revealed that as of March 31, Elden Ring has sold over 20.5 million units worldwide across all platforms, selling an additional half a million copies since the last update for its sales figures in February.

FromSoftware is currently also working on an Elden Ring expansion with Shadow of the Erdtree, though it doesn’t yet have release date. Before it launches, the developer and Bandai Namco will also be releasing Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon in August.

Elden Ring is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read our review of the game through here.
