#39. HELIOS (GOD OF WAR 3)

Kratos’ encounter against Helios isn’t much of a boss fight, so it makes sense to put it at the tail end of the list. The fight is quite brief and not very challenging- essentially, it’s a cutscene with some gameplay elements that mostly take the form of quick time events. Still, it’s an incredible encapsulation of God of War 3’s gleefully excessive gore and violence, what with Kratos literally ripping Helios’ head off with his bare hands.
